Self Test:
Before you use LST01. Please perform the following test:
Step 1: Connect Inverter Tester male to CCFL Tester female.
Step 2: Connect 12V DC Power adapter to LST01.
Step 3: Turn on power switch. Both Indicate light should be lit (Red LED and CCFL) |

Testing your Laptop screen CCFL (Back light Lamp)
|
Step 1:
Connect CCFL Tester (female Connector) to your Laptop Screen CCFL connector.
Connect Grounding wire clip to any metal part on Laptop screen assembly. |

Step 2: Connect 12V DC adapter to LST01
Step 3: Turn on power switch.
|
The defective CCFL back light lamp usually had the following symptoms:*
- CCFL lamp flash on and goes off immediately
- CCFL lamp lights up in reddish or pinkish and goes off immediately
- CCFL lamp lights up in reddish or pinkish and gradually become normal
*The defective CCFL back light lamp usually has three possibilities or results when you turn on LST01
*In a rare case, you may had to let LST01 run for more then 10 minutes to see the problems

If the Laptop screen lights up, then your CCFL back light is working fine (You
could also confirm by turning on the laptop computer, you should see all
contents on the screen). Then the problem may cause by the defective inverter. |

Testing your Laptop screen Inverter: |
To test your laptop inverter. you do not need connect 12V DC adapter to LST01
and also you do not need to turn on the power switch. either. Please following
the below procedures:
Step 1: Connect Inverter tester connector to Laptop inverter

Step 2: Turn on your Laptop computer.
If CCFL lights up (In side LST01, as shown picture below), then the Laptop
inverter is working.
If CCFL does not light (In side LST01, as shown picture below). Then your need a repalcement

In a rare case, If CCFL does not light (In side LST01, as shown picture
above). the problem may cuase by the following components:
- Defective toggle switch
- Bad inverter cable
- Missing enable vlotage from motherboard's video chip
