How to use LST02 - Instruction by Video
The following video instruction shows you how to set up LST02 to test 15.4” WXGA (1280X800)
screen and 16” WXGA_HD(1366X768 HD) LED screen.

LST02 is a custom build for testing all kinds of LCD screens with LVDS interface.
However, it is not a “one size fits all” or " Plug and Play" tester.
So, there are few things you need to know before testing your LCD screen:
- Which Panel Wire Harness does your LCD screen require?
- What is the native Resolution of the LCD screen?
- How to set the dip switch (Jumper)?
- What is the LCD screen's Input Voltage?
All these information are available at our cross reference table.

We would like to test a 15.4" LG Philips LCD screen.
Looking up the Cross Reference Table, we had obtain the following info

Step1:
Connect Panel Wire Harness to LST02, Remember, 2 white dots MUST face up when use our custom wire harness. shown on next photo.
Note: our panel wire harness can ONLY plugs in one direction.

Step2:
Setting Dip Switch, Panel B+ and connect LCD Screen Backlgiht to LST02.
|
Step3:
Apply VGA Signal and 12V DC to LST02
|

All new LST02 had loaded 1366X768_HD_1LVDS driver, so to test a LED screen. set all dip switch off, set B+ at 3.3V, Connect I-PEX-20455-040 to LST02 and LED screen.
Apply signal to VGA and turn On LST02. That's it! |
