LCD Backlight Lamp Installation Guide
Replacing the CCFL backlight lamp on LCD screen is a lot more difficult
then replacing an inverter. This is a very delicate operation.
Please take sometime to review our instructions before you proceed.
Thing you need to know before proceeds:
Most of the laptop/notebook screens have a similar physical structure. So, if you
can not find the exact instruction list on our website, please try to look for the
similar one based on your panel number.

Do not stretch or pull any Row and
Column Driver (TAB), Damaged TAB
will cause problems
like, Vertical line,
Horizontal line or White Screen.

3 Easy Step Procedures to replace backlight lamp
|
Step 1
Disassembly the metal frame.
The metal frame is usually hold by few
small screw on the left and right side of
Panel, you must remove this frame in
order to remove backlight reflector

Step 2
Removing backlight reflector from LCD
Screen Assembly.
Follow by the CCFL wire as shown on
photo, slightly pull it backward.
Note: some of Reflector was mounted
on plastic frame by double size tape, if
so, please use a blade to separate them
first.

Step 3
Replacing Backlight Lamp.
Carefully remove CCFL from reflector,
pull off silicon rubber cap and leave it on
wire. Replace with new lamp and push
the rubber cap back to new lamp.
Note: there is no polarity on CCFL Lamp,
So you can solder either end to the wires.
