LED Backlight Lifespan: As they are a solid state semiconductor device, LED has a longer lifespan typically lasting over 100,000 hours. Being solid state devices, the LED will perform exactly as when they were manufactured as opposed to the CCFL which looses light output continuously over their life up to 50%.

XB series is a direct replacement for Laptop screens that were originally equipped with single CCFL backlight lamps. By upgrading to this high brightness LED backlight, the luminance of white could reach as high as 700 nits and the luminance contrast ratio could reach as high as 1000:1. Note: Dimming control, the XB LED converter is using an analog control, so if your original inverter is using a PWM control, you may not able to adjust brightness.
