MS346LI
We have recently discovered that Almost of Dell Inverters
that equipped with an Ambient Light Sensor (ALS*) feature may have the following symptoms:
- 1. Dim display/Dark Display: The problem still exist after replacing inverter and CCFL.
- 2. You could still see the picture, but somehow, it is just not bright enough. Even you had replaced both Inverter and CCFL.
You can try to solve these issues by disabling ALS* feature.

Although in most cases, the problem still exist, because there are something to do with an internal video chip (This chip is located at Motherboard).
So, technically, the motherboard must be replaced in order to fix the problems.
However, our engineers have come up a better solution to fix these problems. All you need to do is replacing with MS346LI (custom build inverter).
MS346LI can substittue the following Dell Inverters:

*The Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) automatically adjusts the brightness of the system's LCD panel based on surrounding light levels.
* The ALS will increase the brightness of the LCD panel when used in a brightly lit area, and dims the display when used in darker areas.
By design, brightness changes are made gradually to prevent flickering and may not be easily noticed
